Belgium - another country opened for PKP Cargo


The Polish internet forum Rynek Kolejowy (Railway Market) recently informed about approval for PKP Cargo for use of railway infrastructure, this time in Belgium. In a few months, the first shipments start, probably to / from Antwerp.

With the new approval, the PKP Cargo is already licensed in 5 countries. Further applications are already in progress for permits in Hungary and the Netherlands. PKP Cargo plans to achieve revenue in the amount of approximately PLN 200 million for transport abroad.

PKP CARGO transit in three countries


PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL recently signed a new contract with ArcelorMittal. This time it concerns steel transport from Eisenhüttenstadt in Germany to Skopje in Macedonia. PKP CARGO in this case is the carrier from German-Polish border in Gubin to Slovak-Hungarian border in Sturovie.

PKP CARGO runs own transports in Austria


In March of this year we informed that PKP Cargo SA obtained permission to access railway network of ÖBB infrastructure.
Lately PKP CARGO SA has already benefited from this possibility.
Rynek Kolejowy published yesterday a news that on 16th of August by PKP CARGO S.A. was carried out first whole train composition within Austria.
The transport was organized by PKP Cargo International, a.s.
It concerns the transportation of coal from Poland to Bosnia via Austria on the section Breclav/Bernhardstahl - Nickelsdorf/Hegyeshalom.

Polish Trade Trans Log has a new fleet


Since the beginning of May Trade Trans Log Poland has a new fleet of Mercedes Actros tractors and Schwarzmüller trailers. All vehicles comply with Euro 5 certificate and trailers – XL certificate, which is increasingly required by many customers.

Trans Russia 2012


Polish TRADE TRANS has traditionally participated in 17 Fair for Transport and Logistics Trans Russia 2012 that was held on 24-27 April in Moscow.

The company was presented at the joint stand with PKP Cargo Logistics Group.

During the 4 days of the show, company stand was visited by numerous guests from the logistics industry and various sectors of the economy.

Ekol Logistics is extending its fleet in Romania


Ekol, one of the biggest integrated logistic service providers of Turkey and also on European level invested 4,5 million euro buying 50 Volvo trucks, model FH12. The project for extending the fleet is part of the general integration strategy for the intermodal route on the Arad-Worms-Trieste railway stretch. The company is the sole logistic operator providing services on the railway between Arad and Worms (Germany). With using this railway route Ekol is saving 1250 km of road transport taking into consideration the whole distance on the Turkey – Germany stretch.
