We’ve just received an information that a connected with Trade Trans Group Vienna restaurant Marktachterl was recently assessed and received 14 out of possible 20 points in the new issue of Gault Millau guide. The criteria used to assess cuisine by this eminent Austrian culinary guide are freshness and quality of the food, especially seasonal food, the preservation of the taste of the ingredients, creativity and harmony in the preparation, quality of soups and sauces, and imagination in the creation of new compositions.

Slovak economic newspaper „Hospodarske noviny“ as well as railway transport journal „Železničná revue“ published in its October issue an interview with Mr Jan Kuchta – Managing Director of TI FEREST, a.s. – Slovak company from the Trade Trans Group. Mr Kuchta spoke about current situation on the transport market. He informed also about possibilities of cooperation within the Trade Trans Group. We are glad to inform about new investment of Romanian container terminal RailPort Arad in Curtici. On Friday, 22nd of October the factory acceptance test was made for its new reachstacker in the Konecranes factory in Markaryd, Sweden.
From RPA’s side the test was attended by Mr. Zoltán Horváth, technical director of Rail Service Hungaria and Mr. Istvan Wagner – RPA’s General Manager. The test was successful, the reachstacker is working very well so the preparations for transport have already started. Depending on how the road approvals will be obtained by the producer, the arrival of the brand new machine in Curtici is expected in the middle of October. We will surely inform you about its arrival in the RailPort.

The solemn handing over of nominations took place in the seat of the main contest organizer – PKP Polish Railway plc. The awards in five categories - politician, local authority, journalist, manager as well as scientist of the year were handed over by the members of the Chapter – President of PKP PLK Zbigniew Szafrański and Board President of Railway Business Forum Henryk Klimkiewicz. The nominations were given on the basis of proposals from companies, institutions, trade press readers and Internet users.

On 1st September 2010 polish forwarding company Trade Trans is starting up a new commercial agency in Mestre (VE), Italy, yet another in Central and Eastern Europe to join Brest (Belarus), Moscow (Russia) and Bratislava (Slovakia).

The new Agency fits in the Company’s strategy to diversify its road freight forwarding services and to meet the Company’s clients’ local needs.
