Who will become the Railway Friend?

The solemn handing over of nominations took place in the seat of the main contest organizer – PKP Polish Railway plc. The awards in five categories - politician, local authority, journalist, manager as well as scientist of the year were handed over by the members of the Chapter – President of PKP PLK Zbigniew Szafrański and Board President of Railway Business Forum Henryk Klimkiewicz. The nominations were given on the basis of proposals from companies, institutions, trade press readers and Internet users.

The plebiscite ‘Man of the Year – Railway Friend’ is an annual initiative of PKP PLK, which has the aim to distinguish people of merit for rail transport in Poland who by their business activity gained recognition in the rail environment.

The general sponsor of the enterprise is PKP CARGO Logistics Group consisting of three companies - PS Trade Trans, PKP Cargo Service and Cargosped.
