H.Essers company plans to expand in Romania

On 24 May 2012 agreement was signed between H.Essers and Trade Trans. H.Essers intends to create new headquarters in Romania for South-East Europe, on a 16ha logistics area. Plans include a total of 30,000m2 of storehouses. This area will be connected directly to the container terminal in Curtici.
H.Essers Company is the largest Belgian freight forwarder and has covered storage space in the extent of 850,000 m2. Furthermore there are 1,500 trucks and 2,500 trailers owned by the company. These vehicles travel 88 million km per year.
The company currently operates 8 block trains to and from Curtici. The strategic partnership is planned to develop as a hub for transports between Turkey and Curtici.
At the end of the day the company held a big disco party.
